It's happening...at Meadows Museum of Art!

What Happened is Happening (Gallery Show)

My gallery show of original poems from the What Happened is Happening collection is officially open to the public! If you’re in the Shreveport area, you can visit the Meadows Museum of Art at Centenary College anytime between now and April 1st to view the exhibit.

Created throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, these poems give outward expression to an inner experience of heightened uncertainty, longing for connection, reflection on the past, and hope for a future worth inhabiting. In this minimal, fragmented form—perfect for tired attention spans—the seeds of reimagining self and society are planted.

Artist Talk (March 22 @ 6pm)

I will read selected pieces from WHAT HAPPENED IS HAPPENING: Poems and discuss my Meadows Museum of Art exhibition of the same name with friend, poet, and fellow Centenary alumna, Jennifer Strange. All are invited to join for this free IN PERSON event on March 22nd at 6pm. An interactive question and response time will follow the reading and conversation. Refreshments will be available. Hope you can join us!
